Bover JR Maze Robot
Bover JR is a maze-solving robot that was born from the union of its two creators (Leandro Benítez and Ezequiel Sierra), fans of Boca and River from Argentina.
The robot arises from the idea of creating an intelligent vacuum cleaner capable of autonomously navigating and cleaning the spaces in the home.
This project has been an immersive learning experience covering programming, 3D design, and the complex process of building a robot. The Robot integrates Wifi and Bluetooth technology, it also incorporates an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for precise turns and a 'walltofollow' algorithm to follow a wall and efficiently navigate through labyrinths.
In its first competition, Bover JR demonstrated its ability to take first place in the STEPIROB 2023 competition of the " Liga Nacional de Rotobica Argentina". It competed in two more events, achieving 7th place as the best robot in the country in the annual table.
This PCB chassis not only serves as the backbone of Bover JR, but is also a testament to the skills and knowledge gained throughout this transformative journey. By submitting my design to the PCBWay competition, I am confident that the Bover JR 2023 PCB chassis is a testament to the convergence of innovation, education and the pursuit of excellence in the field of robotics.
