Description
Headphones amplifier
This circuit was designed to build a headphone amplifier using two LM386 operational amplifiers. When turned on, a NE555 Timer is also powered, which controls a relay that allows you to activate the audio outputs after a few seconds in order to avoid noises when the operational amps are switched on. It can drive headphones and speakers up to a very high impedance and without distortion. It will certainly never be used at maximum volume as the amplifier power is 0.75w per channel, which is enough for headphones. On the circuit there are 2 pins that allow you to turn the amplifier on or off and another 2 that allow you to disable the audio output.
