Smart Hydroponic System Farming Controller
The project aims is to automate hydroponic farming by integrating sensors to monitor critical parameters such as pH, electrical conductivity, solution and ambient temperature, and implementing precise flow rate control. The data is transmitted in real-time via GSM for remote access and is logged locally using a MicroSD card.
The project was conceived to eliminate barriers to farming, addressing challenges such as limited land availability, busy schedules, and the scarcity of farming resources. By automating hydroponic cultivation, we aim to make farming accessible and manageable for individuals, even in constrained environments.
The project, addressing farming barriers, automates hydroponic cultivation by monitoring pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and temperatures. It measures and controls nutrient solution flow rate using a solenoid valve and flow rate sensor. The system checks EC and pH, ensuring suitability for cultivation. This integrated approach enables efficient, space-saving, and automated farming. Real-time data transmission and local logging enhance remote monitoring, making farming adaptable to modern lifestyles
