How can we help?

Why do 3D printing orders often have EQ regarding wall thickness?

The wall thickness directly determines the strength of the printed object, and also determines whether the model can be printed. Once the model is printed, it also goes through support removal, grinding and sandblasting, which determine the minimum wall thickness for different materials. The model is printable only when the wall thickness meets the minimum requirement.

However, many 3D printed designs do not meet the standard wall thickness requirements. At this time, there is a risk of damage or even failure in the printing.

Another question that everyone is more concerned about is why the wall thickness issue is not pointed out at the beginning of the order review?

The reason is that our 3D printing review is based on the automatic quotation of the pricing system, and the system cannot automatically identify some wall thickness issues.

Of course, we are also actively developing a more accurate quotation system to ensure the accuracy of quotations while ensuring their timeliness.

Anyway, we recommend choosing the following 2 options when placing an order.

*Customer knows about the thin walls designed do not meet the wall thickness standard, but needs to print as-is and take all risks.

*Customer knows about the threads designed do not meet the thread printing standard, but needs to print as-is and take all risks.
